Thomas L. Fitzgerald
Thomas L. FitzeraldMr. Fitzgerald joined Hulsey, Oliver, & Mahar in 1988. With litigation experience in both state and federal courts, he specializes in condemnation law for both condemnor and condemnee, right of way acquisition, local government law, ad valorem taxation, and real estate litigation.

He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association. Mr. Fitzgerald is also an affiliate of the American Society of Appraisers. He is a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, and represents the Georgia Department of Transportation, the City of Oakwood, Jackson County, and Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority in the acquisition of land for public projects. He represents property owners in condemnation cases against Hall County; City of Gainesville; Georgia Power Company; Georgia Transmission Corporation; the Tennessee Valley Authority; the U.S. Forest Service, and other condemning authorities.

Holding a B.A. with distinction from Cornell University, Mr. Fitzgerald also earned his J.D from Cornell. He is a supporter of Good News at Noon, Inc. homeless ministry and has served as a secretary of that non-profit organization since 1991
