Thomas D. Calkins
 With the firm since 1990, Mr. Calkins has expertise in wills & trusts, estate administration, estate planning, corporate law, business law and employment law.
He has significant experience in business formations, buying and selling businesses and administration and planning for estates. Mr. Calkins also has a strong background in representing employers faced with discrimination charges from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
As an American Bar Association member, he is also a member of the organization's Labor and Employment, Real Property, Probate and Trust sections. Mr. Calkins is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (member of Labor and Employment Law section) and of the Gainesville-Northeastern Circuit Bar Association.
Mr. Calkins serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Gainesville College Foundation. He is a former member of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church and a volunteer youth coach for the YMCA and Gainesville Park and Recreation. Mr. Calkins is also a member of the Rotary Club.
With a B.B.A degree in management from Emory University, Mr. Calkins has a J.D. degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
